Australian Junior Welterweight Title

This coming Friday Night will be the Australian Junior Welterweight Title Fight between Chris McCullen and Brad Hemming. Chris McCullen (Alias Macca, Maxi, The Little Big Man, and Chrisee), is a true favourite of the Brisbane Boxing set, for his dedication and commitment to the sport and to the Amateur Champions that he trains in his gym at Logan.
Huia is proud to have coached Chris through his preparation for his Australian title fight. As any athlete knows, you have to push yourself through the pain barrier, time and time again to prepare your body and your mind for a battle.
Chris has been extremely honest about his experiences, the High of knowing that you couldn't possibly push yourself harder, physically or emotionally, and the Low points that coincide with the stress of trying to balance a normal life with the extreme training and strictly controlled diet of a Fighter.
One common thing that I have observed about high performing athletes, is a consistent and undeniable vision of WINNING, and the self-knowledge that they have
pushed beyond the boundaries of endurance & fear to break new ground.
I, along with many of Chris's supporters will be there to cheer him on Friday. But it is a fact that very few will understand or can appreciate the personal sacrifices that come from striving to be the very best. One thing I do know though, is that Chris is a deserving WINNER no matter what the outcome is.

I would also like to acknowledge the Love, dedication and PATIENCE of Chris's partner Raelene and their Chris's kids , L.J. Maddie and Kirra. It is tough to be there 100% and support an athlete through extreme highs and lows. Razz, you are a Champion with the greatest endurance I have ever seen!!
i would like to thank huia for all her time and work in keeping me focused and positive through without a doubt the hardest preperation I've ever been through. I have no doubt that her work and efforts contributed to me winning the Australian Light Welter Weight Title. Thank you so much Huia
